Spencer County KY Farms For Sale

Spencer County is located southeast of Louisville & Jefferson County.  The largest city and county seat is Taylorsville.  The big attraction for this community is Taylorsville Lake State Park.  Taylorsville Lake is approximately 18.5 miles long and is a hub of activity for those persons looking to get away from urban life of the Louisville metro area and gives them an opportunity to boat, fish and swim over most weekends during the summer months.  The topography and land quality varies tremendously in Spencer County.  Most of the horse farms remain fairly close to the Jefferson and Shelby County lines as some of the more interior portions of Spencer County can be quite hilly and not suitable for most equestrian uses.
