Fayette County KY Farms For Sale

Fayette County is home to Lexington, which is the 2nd largest city in Kentucky.  The Kentucky Horse Park is located in the northern portion of the county and is playing host to the 2010 World Equestrian Games that is being held for the first time in the United States.  One of the most famous horse farms in the entire world that makes its home in Fayette County is Calumet Farm.  Calumet was established in 1924 as a thoroughbred and training farm and has been home to 11 horses that have been inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame.
