The 2010 World Equestrian Games tickets go on sale…..in a year.
Sorry guys & gals! They officially go on sale September 25, 2009.
Official prices have not been set, but officials have stated that they
will have “cheap” reserved seats that will cost $25 a pop. And the
higher end tickets for select events may run several hundred dollars
each.
There is another alternative for those on more of a budget. There will be general admission tickets that will allow persons to see the various exhibits at the Kentucky Horse Park, view demonstrations, check out the trade show and dining - AND, you can attend the equestrian events that don’t have reserved seating such as the Endurance and Cross Country riding competitions.
Tickets will be available through TicketMaster.
Preliminary reservations for tickets have been allowed by 2010 WEG officials to some equine organizations such as the members of the United States Equestrian Federation. Deposits were allowed to be made, that would apply to the ultimate purchase price for the tickets.
No worries though for those that aren’t members of those equestrian groups - only about 18% of the total available tickets were allocated to those groups. The remaining several hundred thousand tickets will still be available for purchase by the public next year.
So, hang tight. Save your money. And wait for September 25, 2009 to get your 2010 World Equestrian Games tickets!
